why?

The Caesarean Preparation Day is an informal day with a small group of expectant parents to chat and gain more information about Caesarean birth.

This day will give you:

An opportunity to gain reassurance, support and information about your Caesarean, meeting your baby and your recovery

The time to talk through any fears about having a Caesarean and to help to ease them as you prepare for the birth of your baby

Information and discussion about personalising your Caesarean experience

Information about and skills to cope with any contractions, if labour should start before your Caesarean.

A place where dads can feel included and valued.

A chance to meet other expectant parents.

Ongoing support – I provide email and phone support before and after the birth of your baby

I believe that antenatal classes are worth the investment and I make sure that my antenatal sessions are affordable. If you can gain more reassurance and information, while also meeting other expecting parents, it all contributes to a positive pregnancy and birth experience.
